It’s being reported that it was for handball based on the ref VAR commentary.    Rules of the game are deliberate handball or making your body unnaturally bigger. Hand is in front of the face & if it’s not there, it hits the face. I can’t see how that’s a penalty by any stretch of the imagination.    Hopefully it’s the catalyst for serious conversation on VAR in the summer & we finally get a fan led, club vote on binning it.
