Personally, my view would be to fill in the corner between west and family stand and move W7 lads to the corner to link the atmosphere between the two but if this is the right time who knows, maybe a couple of virtually sold out seasons would be required to make the case for the financial outlay, unless of course we could get sponsorship to do it.
I think any talk of adding new awzy seats needs to be tempered by the cost v payback
The original build came in at £1000 per seat and being realistic any new seats will cost more and be used maybe 9-10 times a season at the very most so the payback is several years
If we can afford to expand, any new seats need to be in the west or east stands or alongside them and the investment would be based on 8000 season tickets as a viable target
I know we've come a long way with attendances, but incremental gains get harder to come by as you keep going up
My belief is that the only way to ensure a realistic base for top 6 and euro contentiion every year is to compete with United and others on crowd size, so the time will come for a decision on capacity
