I heard Iain Anderson talking up The Magpies on his show around the time you posted this, BuddieinEK.  He played one of their tracks and I was impressed. Unfortunately I was unable to attend their performances in Kilbarchan and Glasgow but I shall definitely keep an eye out for any future concerts they have in the area.
