We were down at Campsie Glen last week.  A wee bit in the middle of nowhere which doesn't matter to us.  The site was quite quiet, again, suits us, next to a river and an enclosed dog exercise area.  The weather, as usual, was poor, especially the Thursday which was torrential ALL day and into the night.  The on site club wasn't open, yet again, doesn't bother us.  Weather apart, a great few days away, dogs loved it, except going out on the Thursday.  Definitely a return visit probably next year, as we're trying to visit as many new sites this year before returning.  Next week, Callander is next on the list.
